Royal Garden Oakville

Nice find in Oakville for authentic Hakka food! Everything is made hot, spicy, and full of flavour. Tried the fried rice (veg which is sorta okayush), noodles (Schezwan & Manchurian), and manchurian dishes — all well made. They even include free spring rolls with larger orders, which is a nice touch. Some dishes can be a bit oily, so portion control helps, but overall a great spot to satisfy Hakka cravings once in a while.

Royal Garden Oakville is an absolute gem. You can truly taste the quality of the ingredients in every bite — everything is fresh, flavourful, and perfectly prepared. I ordered the General Tso chicken and the beef noodles, and both were outstanding. Bold flavours, generous portions, and incredibly satisfying. What really sets this place apart is the service. I was welcomed with a smile, given great recommendations, and the staff genuinely went above and beyond to make the experience memorable — including a complimentary hot and sour soup, which was delicious. If you’re in Oakville and looking for great Hakka food with amazing service, this spot is a must-try. Highly recommend!

Ordered one person special dinner; soup was Ok but wings were not good, noodles were good and butter masala Fish was excellent. Amritsari Fish Pakora was excellent too which will makes u repeated customer

Had delicious indo-chinese Hakka(tried Veg Hakka and Kung Pao chicken gravy) . Their lunch special is value for money and I like the Spicy garlic fish served with steamed rice , soup/pop & spring roll. Staff is very helpful and welcoming Sitting area is spacious as well. I recommended this place!

Great service, the server has given us spring rolls on the house both times I’ve been there. The food comes out quickly and tastes great with flavourful sauces and meat. Prices are good, even better if you get the lunch special! All in all, an awesome place to eat, would highly recommend especially.

The food is sooo good! It is such a hidden gem. I usually get the chicken ick if I reheat my chinese leftovers the next day but notttt from here!! It tasted just as fresh and the flavours were great. We ordered the chicken corn soup, chicken chowmein, and manchurian chicken! All 3 were outstanding and they gave us free spring rolls which my picky niece loved.

Walked in to get takeout and enjoyed the meal. Got Veg Hakka noodles and Manchurian Beef. Portions were big and the food was tasty. The beef did not have that ‘previously frozen’ taste that other Hakka places have. Would definitely go back again to get takeout. In terms of the restaurant itself it’s great for families. Lots of booths. Plaza has lots of free parking and a bunch of other stores you can go do errands at and then finish off with a meal/takeout from here.
